The "Play next" and "Play last" episode queuing is hit or miss, especially when sending audio to a Homepod. This application helps you to find the music or podcast. I can listen for 20 minutes to an episode, then send it to a Homepod and the podcast restarts from the beginning. Spotify is an audio player for Windows 10. Sending audio to a Homepod works fine, but it frequently loses position. Time to crown a king for podcast apps on Windows Phone. Under the Window menu select A/V Controls and there. Right click the file in iTunes and choose 'Show In Finder' (Explorer in Windows), then right click the file and open with QuickTime. Was annoying for awhile until they removed the "Mark all as played" feature and it required me to manually mark all those episodes as played. Im not sure if this work with Windows, but on a Mac, if your listening on the computer you can speed up the play back if you use QuickTime.

I dare not open the Podcasts app on my iPad or iMac because all of a sudden 500+ "unplayed" episodes of various shows appear on my iPhone dating back months, or even years. Move the Play Speed slider to the speed at which you want to play the file, or click the. Right-click an open space in the Player (such as to the left of the Stop button), point to Enhancements, and then click Play speed settings. Don't even get me started on sync between devices. If you’re in the Player Library, click the Switch to Now Playing button in the lower-right corner of the Player. If I unlock my iPhone I can see the app is no longer open. Sometimes I'll be listening and not even using my phone, and playback stops. I'll pull the refresh my feed, and boom, the app crashes. Similarly to opening the app, I'll see that a feed has two episodes, I tap on it, and I get a spinning indicator for 15 seconds before I can see the episodes. Feeds sometimes take 10-15 seconds to open.

I'll open it, I get a spinning indicator, and sometimes it takes so long my screen automatically dims. I have an iPhone XR and previous versions never ran this slowly. Can take upwards of 30 seconds for the app to open. Sometimes it updates hours later, sometimes the next day it updates. I can go to the RSS feed or the podcast website and see the new episode, but the Podcasts app doesn't see it. Feed often don't refresh with new episodes, even if done manually. Some shows are just enjoyed better when heard at standard speed while others can benefit from speeding them.
